Azure DevOps Engineer

Client Name:M&T Bank

Location:Hybrid-Specify

Buffalo, NY or Wilmington. DE (NO EXCEPTION).Onsite for 3 days per week.

Notes: Please keep looking and focus on threethings when screening candidates - Azure, Terraform and Ansible.Candidates MUST have these skills.

• A large part of this role will be working with the applications team / engineering team and business users to assess failures and best practices. They want someone who can dig into things like why errors are occurring
• In order to be successful, you need experience and exposure to Azure networking, routing, firewalls within Azure, Azure containerization, DNS within Azure and end points
• This is not a developer or coding role but someone should be able to review how applications are coded, / built and deployed

MUST HAVE:

• A minimum of five years of experience working with Microsoft Azure in a DevOps capacity, including operations, architecture, configuration, and management.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of automation tools, scripting languages, and monitoring solutions.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and best practices within cloud environments.
• Relevant Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are highly preferred
