Essential Functions - Set up the bar before opening, including preparing drink condiments, ensuring sufficient inventory, and organizing the area.
- Serve beverages and take orders for drinks and appetizers in the Bistro and Nevins Pub.
- Prepare appetizers as ordered and deliver them promptly to residents and guests.
- Correctly charge residents and guests for beverages and appetizers.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout service.
- Complete end-of-shift tasks, such as breaking down the bar and cleaning the area.
- Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any complaints, unsafe conditions, or situations involving over-served patrons to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all Presbyterian Homes Corporate Compliance policies, including those regarding confidentiality, security of information, and resident well-being.
Skills/Qualifications - Pleasant, courteous, and respectful demeanor toward residents, guests, and coworkers.
- Reliable and punctual, with adherence to uniform requirements.
- Enthusiastic about providing excellent service.
- Professional and clean personal appearance.
Education And Training - Current college student or graduate preferred.
- Bassett training certification required.
Preferred Experience - Prior bartending experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
