Job Description

As a Detail Car Wash Technician at our dealership, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are cleaned and prepared to the highest standards before delivery to customers or display on the showroom floor. You will play a critical role in enhancing the overall appearance and quality of our vehicles, contributing to customer satisfaction and the dealership's reputation for excellence.

1. Vehicle Washing and Cleaning:
   
   • Wash and clean vehicles according to dealership standards, using appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and techniques.
   • Remove dirt, grime, and debris from vehicle exteriors, including body panels, windows, wheels, and tires.
   • Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboard, and storage compartments.
   • Clean and polish vehicle glass surfaces to remove streaks and ensure clarity.
2. Detailing and Restoration:
   
   • Perform detailing tasks such as waxing, buffing, and polishing to enhance vehicle appearance and shine.
   • Apply protective coatings and sealants to vehicle surfaces to protect against environmental damage and preserve finish.
   • Treat and remove stains, scratches, and blemishes from vehicle surfaces using appropriate products and techniques.
3. Inspection and Quality Control:
   
   • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, defects, and imperfections before and after detailing to ensure quality standards are met.
   • Touch up or repair minor defects as needed, such as paint chips, scratches, or scuffs.
   • Report any significant issues or damage to management for further assessment and resolution.
4. Equipment Maintenance:
   
   • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of detailing equipment, including pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and polishing machines.
   • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, refilling fluids, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
   • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management for repair or replacement.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   
   • Adhere to all dealership safety policies and procedures, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste.
   • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators.
   • Follow manufacturer guidelines and best practices for vehicle cleaning and detailing to ensure customer satisfaction and protect dealership assets.
