Job Overview: As a Copyeditor at Way2Class, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of our content. You will collaborate with writers, designers, and subject matter experts to produce polished materials that adhere to global quality standards and resonate with diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities: Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency. Ensure all content aligns with established guidelines and brand tone. Conduct thorough checks to ensure all materials are error-free and meet high-quality standards. Review content for logical flow, coherence, and overall readability. Apply style guidelines (e.g., APA, Chicago, or in-house) consistently across projects. Work closely with content creators and experts. Provide constructive feedback to improve drafts and support team development. Collaborate with the accessibility team to make materials inclusive for all users. Edit a variety of materials, including eLearning modules, academic texts, corporate reports, and localized content. Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in copyediting or a related role, preferably in eLearning or publishing. Familiarity with digital content and accessibility standards is a plus. Proficiency in editing tools such as MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems (CMS). Knowledge of localization tools and accessibility practices is desirable. Exceptional attention to detail and strong command of the English language. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
