Event Parking Staff

Parking and Transportation Services is looking for dependable, reliable, and friendly part-time Event Parking Staff for the summer and fall semester. The job site is on-campus - both indoors and outdoors. Events include all athletic events such as football, basketball, baseball, and events at the Texas Performing Arts Center (TPAC).

Responsibilities

  • Work on-site at parking locations during events.
  • Provide customer service to campus visitors and residents.
  • Duties may include cashiering prepay events and restricting parking.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work with others and follow instructions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be enrolled at an institution of higher learning and meet enrollment eligibility requirements for a non-academic student position.
  • Must not be working for another UT dept. or State of Texas dept.
  • Customer service skills are a plus.

Salary Range:

$14/hour

Working Conditions

  • Use of manual dexterity
  • Climbing stairs
  • May work in all weather conditions, including inclement and extreme weather
  • Some heavy lifting and moving up to 50lbs. may be required
  • Uniform is a PTS shirt & safety vest (provided), and black or khaki pants or shorts

Work Shift

  • Summer 2025 ongoing
  • Work to be performed in-person, on campus.
  • 15 hours per week.
  • Flexible; shifts occur Monday through Sunday, throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons and evenings. No set schedules, shifts vary week to week.
