Overview We are looking for a skilled GitHub Platform Administrator to join the team at accentedge . In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our GitHub environment, ensuring efficient version control practices and enhancing collaboration among our development teams. You will play a key role in maintaining repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting any issues that arise within the platform. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of experience in version control systems, particularly with Git and GitHub. Technical Skills: Proficient in GitHub administration, including repository management, branch policies, and workflows. CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices, including tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI. Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Trello, and integration with GitHub. Scripting Abilities: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks and enhance workflows. Problem-solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to the GitHub platform quickly and efficiently. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with GitHub security practices and best practices for access control and compliance. Experience in onboarding and training team members on Git and GitHub usage.
