Groundskeeper

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior grounds of our healthcare facility. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety protocols, and can work independently across various outdoor tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor common areas
• Perform mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, and weed control
• Remove trash, debris, and hazardous materials from outdoor spaces
• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, entryways, and parking lots (seasonal)
• Inspect grounds regularly and report maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
• Support setup and cleanup for outdoor events or facility needs
• Follow all safety, infection control, and facility regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance (preferred)
• Ability to operate lawn care and snow removal equipment safely
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and plant care
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
