About the Role

The Member Onboarding Banking Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new members, including opening accounts, processing loans, and providing excellent member service. The role involves active marketing of products, supporting the loan department, and participating in community outreach activities.

Ewing, NJ

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
  • Operate computer systems to open accounts, access account information, and update member records.
  • Market and cross-sell credit union products and services to members.
  • Follow up on referral leads to generate new business.
  • Assist in preparing credit information for establishing credit limits.
  • Support loan department activities, including online application approvals.
  • Participate in outreach events and manage onboarding communications.
  • Utilize onboarding tools and processes to complete scheduled onboarding events.
  • Upsell Payment Protection products and track product pipeline in CRM.
  • Participate in regulatory and credit union training programs.
  • Assist with branch coverage and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outbound sales calling experience.
  • FICEP Certification, Notary Public, and NMLS licensing.
