Description Northpointe is a Community Mental Health (CMH) organization providing services to individuals with serious mental illness, emotional disturbance, substance abuse disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities across Iron, Dickinson, and Menominee counties in the UP of Michigan. Northpointe itself was established in 1995 but has roots as a CMH dating back to 1964. Our presence can be found through remote emergency services, in school and home-based programs, and in clinical and residential home settings.
Job Purpose The Residential Manager supervises and manages a home for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or a mental illness to ensure delivery of high quality and safe care in a comfortable home environment is provided. The Residential Manager shall ensure licensing and other regulatory requirements are followed.

Essential Duties - Assists clinical staff in planning, implementing, and monitoring each individual's individual plan of service.
- Advocates for and ensures that the rights of each individual are protected.
- Supervises and balances expenditures for each individual's personal funds.
- Coordinates and implements a staffing schedule, meetings, individual appointments, and training.
- Oversees and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Completes necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including monthly residential occupancy report, employee infection control form, manages performance indicators data sheet, petty cash data sheet, bills, etc.
- Maintains compliance with the budgetary guidelines set for the home.
- Directly supervises residential support specialists and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
- Plans, assigns, and directs work duties.
- Conducts performance evaluations and implements corrective/disciplinary action as appropriate.
- Addresses concerns and resolves problems.
- Advocates for residents and serves as a liaison for communication with guardians and other members of the care team.
Requirements This position will actively support the mission, vision, and values of the agency.
Education, Certifications, and/or Experience - LPN or minimum 5 years of experience with management or supervisory roles within a healthcare setting
- Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with I/DD and MI required.
- Experience working in a licensed adult foster care preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary Description
$46,546.56 to $59,753.41
