Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position is for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing serving students in grades K-12 within a school located in Ashland City, TN. The role requires providing specialized educational support tailored to the needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 20, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week. This position requires on-site presence, with no remote or hybrid options available.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Tennessee Department of Education teaching license
  • Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across K-12 grade levels
  • Ability to develop and deliver individualized educational plans based on student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
  • Adaptability in service delivery based on shifting caseload requirements

Responsibilities:
