Job Description

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Peabody, MA (Relocation to Salem, NH)

Pay Range: $28-$32 (Based on skills and experience)

Shift: 9/80 schedule, Flexible start time from 6am-7am, Monday to Thursday 9 hours a day, and every other Friday off. 

• Conduct electro-mechanical and systems-level testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Verify, calibrate, and troubleshoot standard and non-standard subassemblies or systems.
• Utilize essential testing equipment such as digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Interpret technical documentation and schematics to guide troubleshooting efforts.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues at the component level efficiently.

What's Needed?

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with essential testing equipment, including digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, frequency counters, voltmeters, and signal generators, is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot non-complex circuits (down to the component level).
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, particularly in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical documentation accurately.
