\n\nJob Description\n

Join our dedicated team in a fast-paced cardiac progressive care unit. This unit serves patients with conditions such as CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, and more. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care using advanced monitoring and treatment techniques.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting.
\n
• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
\n
• Assist with procedures such as bedside cardioversion.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Must have telemetry experience and stepdown or progressive care experience.
\n
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone, and insulin drip.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
\n
• Preferred: Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) and relief charge experience.
\n
