• Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:45 - 15:15); schedule may flex as needed\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3050 - $3280\n
• Call: One late shift (until 5 PM) and one call shift per week; one weekend call per month\n
• Float: May float to sister hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL (25 miles away)\n
• Scrubs: Provided\n

\n\nRNFA Qualifications & Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN First Assist experience required\n
• Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand prior to start)\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Epic charting experience required\n
• ACLS, CNOR, and PALS certifications preferred\n
• First-time travel nurses accepted\n
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• Ability to pass OSHA Respirator Clearance and FIT testing (must be clean shaven)\n
• Must not reside within 70 miles of facility (local candidates not accepted)\n

\n\nRNFA Responsibilities – Surgical Nursing Jobs\n

\n
• Provide first assist support in general, bariatric, orthopedic, spine, podiatry, endoscopy, gynecology, and pain management surgeries\n
• Perform advanced perioperative tasks including infection control, wound management, universal protocol, and radiation safety\n
• Assist with laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and pediatric surgical cases\n
• Participate in call rotation and late shifts as scheduled\n
• Float to sister facility in Mt. Vernon, IL as needed to support patient care\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system\n
