Job Description

As a Used Car Detailer at our dealership, you will be responsible for ensuring that pre-owned vehicles are meticulously cleaned and prepared to the highest standards before being displayed for sale. You will play a critical role in enhancing the overall appearance and value of our pre-owned inventory, contributing to customer satisfaction and the dealership's reputation for quality and excellence.

1. Vehicle Washing and Cleaning:
   
   • Wash and clean pre-owned vehicles inside and out, using appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and techniques to remove dirt, stains, and debris.
   • Pay special attention to areas that require extra cleaning, such as wheels, tires, door jambs, and engine compartments.
   • Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and floor mats, to remove dirt and odors.
2. Detailing and Restoration:
   
   • Perform detailing tasks such as waxing, buffing, and polishing to enhance the appearance and shine of pre-owned vehicles.
   • Treat and remove stains, scratches, and blemishes from vehicle surfaces using specialized products and techniques.
   • Touch up paint chips, scratches, and imperfections to restore the vehicle's exterior finish to like-new condition.
3. Inspection and Quality Control:
   
   • Inspect pre-owned vehicles for cleanliness, defects, and imperfections before and after detailing to ensure quality standards are met.
   • Document any damage, missing accessories, or mechanical issues discovered during the detailing process and report them to management for further assessment and resolution.
   • Ensure that all detailing work is completed according to dealership standards and customer expectations.
4. Inventory Management:
   
   • Assist with inventory management tasks, including vehicle check-in, organization, and preparation for sale.
   • Coordinate with sales staff and inventory managers to prioritize vehicles for detailing based on sales priorities and customer demand.
   • Maintain accurate records of vehicle detailing activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent on each vehicle.
