River Valley, a growing specialty foods and consumable products distributor in Syracuse, NY, is searching for full time Warehouse Selector . The River Valley family of companies: River Valley Foods, Cavallaro Foods and Garden Spot Foods, distributes a wide range of specialty dry and frozen grocery items and consumable products out of warehouses in Syracuse, NY and New Holland, PA.

Join a fast-growing distributor of specialty foods and non-consumable products. We’re looking for a safe, efficient and accurate Warehouse Selector to join our second shift team.

Wages :

• Starting rate of $20.00 per hour with increase up to $21.00 possible within 90 days

Hours :

• Scheduled for 4 days/week. 2:30PM – work is finished
• Warehouse operates Saturday - Thursday (Fridays off)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently select products for customer orders
• Operate a double-length pallet jack safely in a busy warehouse environment
• Build stable pallets that are able to be transported with no damage
• Work in both refrigerated and dry areas of the warehouse as needed
• Be a positive and productive member of the team

Key Skills:

• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to read and understand English in order to perform job requirements and understand supervisor instructions
