Full Job Description Rydica Home Solutions LLC is seeking skilled and hardworking Window and Door Installers to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced installers to step up, become team leads, and run their own crews, or for mechanically inclined, entry-level carpenters to learn a lucrative skill set from master craftsmen. Who We Are Rydica Home Solutions LLC is a family and veteran-owned construction company based in Newton, MA, specializing in windows, siding, and doors. Founded by military veteran Brian Miller, the company has been proudly serving residential and commercial clients since 2019. Rydica Home Solutions offers a comprehensive range of services including general contracting, carpentry, remodeling, and property management. With a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time, Rydica has earned a reputation for quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. The fully licensed and insured team provides free estimates and exceptional service throughout the Newton area.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To - Installation: Install windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring watertight seal, precision, and attention to detail.
- Measurement & Alignment: Accurately read a tape measure and level to ensure proper installation and alignment of windows and doors.
- Use of Tools: Operate basic power tools such as drills, chop saws, brakes, and table saws to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain safety standards on the job site, ensuring all installations are performed without risk to yourself or others.
- Team Collaboration: Work independently or as part of a group to meet project timelines and client expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring solutions are implemented quickly and professionally.
- Job Site Preparation & Cleanup: Ensure job sites are prepared before installation and cleaned after work is completed, leaving a professional finish for the client.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess - 2+ years experience installing replacement windows
- Must have basic hand tool knowledge as well as the ability to bend capping with a brake.
- Ability to lift 60+ lbs.
- Experience operating basic power tools, including drills, chop saws, and table saws.
- Driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Comfortable working independently or in a team environment.
- Must be able pass a drug test.
- Professional and polite interactions with clients as well as clean, proper attire is required.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to work outside year-round.
- Confidence and ability to climb, work on ladders, lifts, and heights.

Schedule - Full Time
- Monday to Friday
- Flexibility to work OT on weekends.
