DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a local contract Correctional Dental Assistant for a local contract job in Inez, Kentucky.

• 40 hours per week

Health Services Department

Inez, KY 41224

 

Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• 30 minute unpaid lunch
• No weekends
• No federal holidays

 

Duties
• Assist dentist during clinical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients
• Maintain instrument accountability and sterilization
• Document care in BEMR electronic medical record
• Follow infection control and safety standards
• Maintain professional conduct in a correctional setting
• Support daily operations of the dental clinic
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the dentist

 

Requirements
• Formal dental assistant training and at least 2 years experience or current certification
• Current Basic Life Support CPR certification
• Ability to maintain required continuing education
• Experience with electronic health records preferred
• Ability to work with diverse inmate populations
• Ability to pass federal background investigation and credentialing

 

Contract Details
• Federal correctional healthcare contract
• On site position
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• Non personal services
